The time has come!

Captains Cat

As it did for Dr Bob and Marie about two years ago, the time has come for Sally and me to part with THATAWAY. I will be keeping the tow vehicle but the boat will need a new home. Changed little, and we've put probably only 50 hours on it since we got it. That's not enough to justify keeping it. Will modify Bob's description as necessary and try to post this weekend.

It's on our lift and still runs great! This is the best example of a TC255 I've come across.

Stay tuned..

We understand. Life and desires change. Thataway is a great example of a TomCat, and someone is going to get a fine boat. Good luck with the sale and the next chapter.

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

Charlie, Marie and I are sorry that you are selling "Thataway". Marie kept asking me "why did you sell my boat? all last summer...

We wish you the best in what the next adventures you have in life!

Charlie,

Wish you well as you go through the next chapter. Sure hope you stick around here on the Brat site though. We still need the sound logic and great sense of humor. And, the extensive nautical knowledge are a great resource.

Our time was a few years ago and I still miss our C-dory. Pat's health and her worry about me falling off the boat is the drive way caused the sale. The boat has a good home on the Erie canal and is now named SNICKERS.
Have fun in the next chapter of your life!

Charlie-

All things have their time and season, but I know you'll always be here with us, with or without the TomCat! :wink

Charlie,

I am not a frequent contributor to C-Brats, but I always looked forward to your insight and humor in your posts. Best of luck with the transition, and sale of your boat. It is a beauty.

Pat and Fred Messerly, it was very interesting to read your comment. I visited SNICKERS and it's new owner at a Marina on the Erie Canal. Jim Whitney showed us the boat before we purchased our boat. He keeps the boat at a Marina near the town of Macedon. There are not many C-Dory's in our area of the country, so it was good to have the chance to take a look at one. SNICKERS is a very nice boat, well kept, you must of maintained her very well.

Hope all is well with you.
Regards,
Jack Howell
