Yellowstone

A while back when Roger and Jim were taunting us snow bound Montanans about the nice boating weather in Florida and Texas, a small bet of a bottle of wine was made, viz., when will the ice leave Lake Yellowstone. Jim of Wild Blue fame predicted May 25, Robbi from Washington's Puget Sound, said May 30, and I from White Suffering Springs said May 15. Well, the verdict is in. Edna and I went to the big lake yesterday, and found the lake essentially ice free. Staffers at Bridge Bay Marina said it was open on the 27th, which means that Jim was the closest in his prediction. Will a bottle of MD satisfy your palate or will you insist on one of those insanely expensive French wines? Please advise. John
P.S. Shoshone and Lewis Lakes are still ice bound
