I don't see the problem here Charlie. Not a chip out of the gel coat on the boat. Looks like a successful launch to me. Now they just need to drive all the vehicles into a nearby lake for the freshwater rinse and everything should be okey-dokey.

Hey, Charlie...thanks for sharing. Pretty funny in a geez, that could have been me sort of way.

A couple of years ago, a good friend of mine was launching his SeaDoo from a ramp on our nice, quiet lake. Ironically, his vehicle was a Mercury Mountaineer...just like an Explorer. Anyway, he almost lost his truck when he left it in Reverse and got out...obviously, didn't have his brake set, either. And, he had the back hatch open. Ol' Ronnie was able to jump back in (like a cat) while it was moving and stop it just before he would have lost it....not even a centimeter away from "bon voyage". And best of all, his friends were there to watch.

We still talk about it...funny thing is, Ron doesn't...just us.
