Thataway's Bob Under The Bright Lights/Blade

Hello Bob and Marie,

Wishing you both some rest, quick recuperation, and relaxing time out on the water. So glad to hear all went well!

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

Bob, great news! Get well soon but don't rush it. Take it easy and enjoy!

Charlie

Thanks for all of the good wishes and prayers! It will be a few weeks before boating--and Marie cracks a mean whip--so I have to really obey!
Thanks to Wayne for updates, and my wonderful daughter Robin who updated the site the last two days.

Marie drove me 150 feet to the lobby of the "Guesthouse" so I could send this post. Today we will move about 30 miles down the road to a real RV park--we don't have full hookups, and have to use a 20 gallon tote to remove grey and black water. We will rest there for a few more days. Daughter Robin leaves to Culver City and her Family on Saturday, and we will probably start heading South slowing that day.

I don't know what type of internet access I will have in the next week--but if there is any issue, I'll let Wayne know.

Again thanks to All!!!!

Love,

Bob and Marie.

Yaaaayyy....

So good to hear from you. I'm glad you have a coach to act as a "governer" to limit activity, 'cause it seems like you're always chomping at the bit!

Take your time and enjoy the calmness!

Best wishes to you all,

John

Bob and Marie,

We're glad the procedure went well and was less invasive. Rest and get well soon.

Have a safe trip,

Don and Dee

Sounds like everything worked out just fine. Best wishes for your recovery.

Three stents and two balloon angioplasties? Good lord, your groin must feel like Grand Central Station on Friday afternoon about now....

Glad to hear you did it without Yet Another Zipper. Harvesting suitable bypass material can be challenging, as you well know. Especially when all the easy ones were used in earlier harvests. Glad you'll be able to laugh, sneeze, and cough immediately without hugging a pillow. :thup :thup The alternative(s) suck.

Don

Bob,
Excellent news!! A speedy recovery will make a fine close to this chapter.
Best wishes,
Mike"Levity'

Thank you all--We are now in Kentucky--crossed the Ohio River--didn't see any C Dories--about an hour ago. The boss Admiral (Marie) won't let me do a thing.....OK, I got to guide her as she backed the RV into a tight space. Sure is nice having a wife who knows how to handle a rig!

We are doing well, and daughter Robin is heading back to Calif. as I type. It was a great comfort to have her with me, as well as Marie.

:thup :thup :thup Now, listen to Marie, get some rest, and get better quick!

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

Arrived home at 5 PM today--once the Admiral got to Montgomery AL, she put the pedal to the metal, so to say. There was a block party at our end, as the RV blocked our narrow road, and I was welcomed home...Great to be back with our C Dories--now just have to get the admiral to let me play again! It will be a couple of weeks, and with the high dose of plavex, I will have to be very careful with sharps! I will be scheduling my cardiac rehab tomarrow...
Thanks to all, especially my friend and neighbor Wayne Barr!

Bob

Bob and Marie,

It's always good to be home! Stay rested and best wishes for your recovery.

Don and Dee

Hi Bob,

Glad you are home and doing well. I never had any cardio rehab , but when I had my knee replaced some years ago I had a female PT that really got my heart pumping. I hope you enjoy rehab as much as I did.

Welcome back, Bob. It appears you spent more time travelling than in the hospital!
