TC 24 For sale in Ft Meyers FL

Hi guys the motors are yamaha 80's and 100's and the same merc engines are called 75's and 90's This is when merc and yamaha were cooperating with each other . The powerheads were from yamaha same with the merc 50's so if you bought a merc 50,75,or 90 you really were getting a yamaha with better access to better props and better corrosion protection also same with the f-115 or merc 115 four stroke or the merc 225 . just a little history lesson for those who like that kind of stuff .WE would sell the Pro-line with merc 225 and pull the cowling off to show it was a yamaha . The engines on the tomcat 24 are four stroke yamaha 1.6 litre engines with carburator then the upgrade to fuel injection with the f-115 also increased to 1.7 litre I"ve had two of the f-115 i love them great engines . whoever does buy this boat make sure you do an engine run and boat test good luck Jim of Jennykatz

Wanted to thank everyone for visiting us at the Charlotte Co. Boat Show.....it was a good show.

Surprised to see everyone talking about the 1999 24 TomCat that we just listed! Small world. This is a very clean boat.....much cleaner than the other 24 TomCat that we sold couple of years ago!

It is going to be a great deal for someone. Let me know if you need more information.

Jim Thanks for the history lesson. I should have checked the owner's post, since that does show that the boat has 4 strokes.

I have the 115 Yahama (4 injected---2003) which is an excellent engine and gives great fuel economy.

This boat is less expensive than the one which sold a year or so ago.

Hi Ken If you fly down to Ft. Myers give a call I can pick you up and take you over to bulldog . send me a pm or email me at widmannfla@aol.com Jim

I would look to buy it but we just put in new canvas and new trailer for our cape cruiser 23 and it get such good economy that i'd be hard pressed to find a better boat for us .

This is the green Nomad......the title says 2000 but HIN is 1999.....F100's are 2000. A little confusing but HIN rules. I always check there.

Hi.......I've been reading your forums for a long time and have really enjoyed them. My wife, Mary and I just signed a purchase agreement on this tomcat in Ft Meyers. I've been looking for years and finially found what I was looking for.

Congratulations, Chris, and welcome aboard!

You've found what must be the best deal of all time in the TomCat 24.

Thanks Georgs. I started looking back in 04 for a 24'er but couldn't find one so I ended up buying a 25.5' Sea Cat which is also a very good boat but the quarters just are not as good. So we will be selling the Sea Cat to have comfort.

cool, what a score, you not only got a good deal on a boat but also free membership in this cool internet yacht club :) I was drooling over that thing but it was on the wrong durn coast....and my boat sits unused all summer as it is...

enjoy & welcome

CONGRATS: I too was drooling, the deal of the decade, not just the year. Figured the engines must be rotting, aka if it's too good to be true...

Too bad wrong timing, wrong coast, otherwise would have been on a plane that day. Congrats

Actually it turned out that the boat has been a fresh water boat (Lexington, KY) since 2002 and just happened to be in Florida for 1 month and the owner decided to sell and left it with the local C-Dory dealer. I've had a lengthy conversation with the owner and after talking to him I think we got the right boat for us.

My son will be travelling form south Florida to North Idaho in March. He has a GMC duramax and might haul a boat much more reasonably than someone roundtrip from the northwest. He is a very experienced large trailer driver. PM me if interested.

Well, we hauled her home today. Started unloading the SeaCat and loading the C-Dory. We are excited about taking it out for the first time. Love the space of the cabin.

Hi. Just a note to say that I own the first TC 24 sold - it is a 1997. We use it constantly, and it runs like a top. Original Honda 90s. They start and run like brand new, which means they hate to start when cold, but once up and running they are terrific. I wouldn't sell it for $29K, so the 1999 is probably one great deal. The hull alone is worth more than that.

TWO-DAWGS.

I've been watching and looking for 4 years. And I also believe I got a good price on the boat. Do you know how to read the hull number, I mean what the numbers mean?

not to pop your bubble Chris, but that boat has a big design flaw ( they forgot to fill in the V for the V hull just leaving two sponson type things) and you won't like it. If you sell it now you may ...may, be able to get most of your money back :)

enjoy
