suggestions welcomed for boat name

our last two boats have been "Misty Seas". our friends know us as Misty Seas, however we think it's time for a change.
some of the names i'm considering are, river mist, salty c's, slow and easy, ( this one i like because we operate at trawler speed, cor-shan, this one is our children's name, locked and loaded, fit and trimmed, c-shore, c-breeze. i've looked at the web site of 1000 boat names, but feel brain dead at this point. if you don't have anything to do then give this some thought and let me know if any of these names sound good or what names you come up with.
thanks in advance

PS: gas economy was never an issue with any of the boats or motorhome , i've owned. if and when it becomes a burden i'll get out of boating.

Maybe the Sea Ray is trying to tell you something -- maybe it wants a chance to live up to the name Misty Seas.

well, the name we are hoping to use needs to be short. cor-shan, for example, it's the name of our son and daughter, corey/shannon. easy to have printed and easy to install and totally unique to us. i would like to install it on the lazaret, which isn't all that large.
i'm not in a hurry to name the boat, would like the name to either describe us or have a family connection or perhaps what we hope to accomplish with our boat. i have looked at the 10000 boat names site and can't believe some of the names people have chosen.
you guys have made some good suggestions however i'm still undecided.
thanks again
pat

All friendly sarcasm aside, I originally was going w/ a similiar thought process as you just posted. I was gonna go with "MERENEV"; half Meredith (wife), half Nevaeh (g-daughter). I thought it unique and fitting after the two most important women in my life (with all respect to my late mom). But it got "vetoed" by The Admiral for sounding too "Russian".

Good luck. I'm sure it will come to you.

Since this seems to have happened suddenly, how about
SUDDEN SEA

The alliterative 'sea' is triple meaning, the Sea, C-Dory, SeaRay.... Gets the job done in one swell foop...

If there is angst with the name, it's because something about it isn't right. We've had a couple boats that we waited over a year before the boat told us what fit. Misty Seas obviously has a connection for you, as does Cor-Shan. Two that you feel good about is better than a bunch that your aren't sure about. If you stay with the same name, you don't have to "relearn" radio habits.

It will come to you.

Best wishes,
Jim

Hey Pat... I saw your comment in your photo album your motor home only gets 8 mpg. Is that because you carry all them weights?

Maybe you should do what I do and just workout with something you find laying around like this

So... When can Cathy and I get a ride on the new nameless boat and have a few brats at the Hofbrauhaus with you and Linda?
You can show off that new Vetus 3512.
Maybe name the boat "thruster" or "Vetus"

just wanted to give a heads up on our selection of a new boat name, this wasn't as easy as i first thought. linda and i went back and forth on many names and meanings, personal and otherwise.
bottom line is, we choose, "Fan-A-Sea", it works for us, i had our local fastsign shop print it up, the background, or shadow, is a burgundy color, that matches the hull color, and the individual letters are completed in high gloss gold metal flake, vinyl, looks great and gives the boat the appropriate bling! the dimensions are 30" x 5" high. will be placed on the aft lazarette hatch. total cost was $50. which i thought to be extremely reasonable.
thanks for the suggestions.
have a great day,
pat

hi jeff,
not sure how this happened but i didn't see your june 27, post until just now. we need to schedule a get together, including your brother byrdman.
linda and i are taking a motorhome trip to nashville soon, we'll give a heads up for dates and times. haven't sold the lake home yet, still need to see more properties in and around nashville so just in case we have to vacate we'll have a place to move our stuff to.
hope all is going well with you guys, we are really looking forward to the move.
best regards
pat

ps: looking forward to working out with you and byrdman, he mentioned to me that i could count on both of you to be workout partners
