Storage covers.

I keep my 22 CD Cruiser in a covered RV storage facility. It is not my preferred solution but it is a needs be. Thus far no issues but I would like to keep it that way. You know the old adage, “Out of sight, Out of mind.” I am looking for a canvas or other type material cover the boat. Does anyone have a suggestion as to a manufacturer of a cover designed especially for C-Dorys? Thanks for the info>

Angola Canvas did mine. They have the pattern for the C-Dory 22 so you can just call them up and order one. If you need mods to the standard fit (antennas, racks, radar, etc.) they are happy to work with you on it.

The stock cover only comes down to the rub strip. Originally I asked for a 14" extension to the sides all the way around. Once I got it I decided that I wanted it even longer and sent the cover back to have another extension added so that the sides come down to the trailer fenders. I also marked on the cover where I wanted additional reinforcement due to things sticking out of my boat.

The original price for the cover as right at $1000 (for sunbrella). The mods I requested after I received it only cost my for the extra fabric and the shipping.

The only thing I did was put in a number of grommets around the hem of the cover for tie down ropes. You can probably have the canvas company do that for you as well.

My boat is stored outside year round.

They can make the cover from a few different materials.

If you do search here you'll find many Brats have bought covers from Angola.I think all the comments have been positive. By the way, I had our cover made from a less expensive fabric than Sunbrella and it was fine for the several years we had that boat.

Agree with Angola. Be sure that you send diagrams or photos of any accessories which you may have. (like radar, extra flag pole holders, extra cleats etc) They will customize to re-inforce any area which might chafe.
