steering wheel sticks

Hi... have any of you fellow 22' angler owners had steering wheel stuck when turned full turn? mine is a 1997 and disconnected rod from motor and the noise and catch is coming from inside back of steering wheel....when forced it makes a popping noise and breaks free? too bad all the electrical wires are in front of box anyway if you have experienced this problem please share your solution... thankyou...on different subject what glue to ,use to glue window latch to glass and where do you get appropriate latches as port side is missing... thankyou so much for your help
 
If you have cable steering, the cable inevitably corrodes and jams. I don't have a fix other than replacing with hydraulic steering which is what I had to do with my 22 Cruiser back in 2005. If you have hydraulic steering and are experiencing this problem, I have no idea...

Some of the push pull cables used to have zerk fittings. If they don't then greasing the main flexible shafts is difficult. Many times replacement is easier. A Non Feed Back cable is preferred.
