We are planning a cruise to South Texas down the ditch in late April or May anyone interested. The Dates should be easy to firm up if others want to come along. Thought we would leave Galveston bay and run to Port A the first day. We will take bikes and hang around Port A for a day or 2 it's a boater friendly place. This week we are going to Punta Gorda Fl.
to bring a friends Endeavor 36 back to Clear lake it should be fun also straight across the Gulf have never done this crossing before. I if any are interested in the ditch trip post back and lets set it up might go has far has South Padre.

Hi Joe,
We JUST got back to the frozen northland, having left our beloved deep south Texas on Saturday. We can't make the trip you have planned, but if all works as planned we will be back in Port Isabel/South Padre area in October. Let me know if I can provide any "local information" for the PI/SPI area.

One of the first trips we have planned for our upcoming CD-25 (after shaking down in the NW) is up the ICW to your neck of the woods. And then off to the Keys... and then...

Have fun.

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan B.

Joe and I are anxiously awaiting a good time in April or May to take our C-beauty to Port Arthur for fun, food and spirits. We are taking our two boat loving Dachsunds as well. They are not too weenie to tag along!
We are taking our bikes as well!

Currently typing messages as we enter the gulf from Fort Myers Florida area. Boating with friends on an Endeavor Cat. Trawler to Gulfport Miss.

Happy boating to all!

Not to hijack the thread, but I saw a great bumper sticker a few months ago and I guess it applies to you as well.

"Dachshunds are like potato chips - you can't just have one"
