After an enjoyable day with Marc.

The question is "Did you buy a boat"? For your information, we have been cruising at about 20 mph at 4800 RPM with the boat loaded, full fuel, water and gear.

Are you coming back down for Apalachicola gathering--you all are traveling like a C Dory owner!

Tease! 8)

Come on, Bud... you can tell me. I didn't say anything about your last boat... or two... or twelve.

Bob,

I will be with my grandkids in Colorado during the time of the gathering so I will miss seeing you again and perhaps some of the other C-Brats we had the pleasure of meeting.

I did, however, see the "pig box"!!!!! :D

Low res cell phone picture and it makes the boat seem like it glows!!!!!!

2001

Twin Honda 40's with over $2,000 of receipts for work on the fuel system including rebuilding all the the carbs etc. Also recent work to the trailer brakes. Camper back canvas has never been used.

I think it needs a windlass and trim tabs.

Nancy thinks is needs a lot of interior improvements, mostly related to storage as well as seats in the cockpit and a cooler rack.

Tows very well.

When we got to Marc's yesterday morning. The boat was being washed. We wandered around the yard looking at boats. Nancy's first comment was that the 25's looked way to big for us to tow around.

We've done our due diligence and considering our intended usage, I believe we made the correct choice for us.

Thanks to everyone who gave us information, advice, encourage and a little nudging. You know who you are!!!

The next month is crazy for us schedule wise. Hopefully we will find a little time to go to KY Lake in October before the weather turns off cold.

Congrats on the new boat!! :thup :thup

What else could be more important on the agenda than messing about with the new boat???

Photo looks good - we are very excited for you two!

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

Nancy says no boat projects till the "other" list is completed. You know, landscaping, good cleaning of the basement so the floor can be painted, and on, and on and on.

But, as you can tell, we are excited.

Congratulations. We all know that boating comes first...except when the Admiral has some very special lists.

I can just see it now--a lazy boy recliner in Sunbrella Hunter green in the cockpit...A wine cooler rack--great idea!

Forgot to mention that Marc included a turned wooden cover for the wheel.

Very nice work on a piece of walnut!

Congrats Bud. Twins and radar too?? What other goodies do you have! Lol

Camper back and bimini, unused from the looks of things.

Wallas dual burner stove/heater.

Room for a lot of additions at the helm station. I already own a color chartplotter/GPS

Congratulations on the new boat...how was life in Apalachicola looking?

I am just north of you, up 127, in Greenville...Bond County. Safe travels home!

Hi Mark,

Yes, we are almost neighbors.

Life was good. Hot and humid but it's FL so kind of what we expected.

We store our boats in a shed near the golf course in Greenville.

Bud

Enjoy the new boat !
Marc

Well, I guess the principles for the curtains remain the same whether it is a 25 or a 22! :-)
