Source for outboard service manuals?

I'm looking to acquire the service manuals for my 2008 Suzuki DF 150's and my 2003 Mercury 3.3hp 2-stroke outboard. I have found plenty of places offering the manuals at full retail (about $70 each) but I was curious if any Brat's knew of another source at better rates.

Thanks!

I am looking for a maint. manual for my 1997 Honda 90 HP. Anyone have a used one they are not using anymore or know where I can find one.
Thanks...........and Happy New Year

While not as detailed as the factory service manuals, the Selocmarine manuals contain most of the key specs and procedures and cost less than $40......don't know if they have what you need but worth a look-

you should be able to get these through any book store

Try ebay!

They have, for many or most outboards:

1. Original but used factory service manuals.

2. The Seloc and/or other after market manuals, new and/or used.

3. CD-ROM copies of the original factory service manuals for as little as $5-$10 each. (These may be "bootlegged" or illegally copied editions, but they've got the whole show right there for cheap. I'd buy the factory manual from the dealer if I had to, but the typical $75 is just a bit much of a gouge, IMHO.)

4. Here's the online Factory Service Manual for the 2005 Yamaha 90 EFI outboard for anyone who wants to use it that I ran across on a web site once.

2005 Yamaha FD-90 Service Manual

I suggest those of you who can use it download it and keep it, just in case they decide to deny us access to it. Sneaks and I tried to deduce the codes for all their manuals from the one listed, but without success.

The 75 and 90 differ very little except on fuel injection and perhaps ignition computer programming and a few minor hardware issues. I doubt the manuals for 2006-2009 are much different.

Happy Hunting!

Joe.

I have been buying my Suzuki parts from www.brownspoint.com, they have manuals as well 59.00 not as cheap as the ebay ones. Probably 10 percent off. They are the factory manuals. If ebay doesn't have your model give them a try. They have giving me great service so far.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did see that one on Ebay but when you read in the description is says 1998-2002 models (though the listing title reads 2006-2008).

I will check out the Browns Point link. I guess with new engines it's tough to find used or otherwise discounted service manuals. I think they are definitely worthwhile though.
