We met Brent & Dixie at out first C-Dory Gathering in April 2006 shortly after they purchased this boat. Followed by other Gatherings & then the summer of 2015 cruising SE Alaska for the summer with them. Someone we be getting a meticulously cared for & maintained Tomcat.

Very sad to see you guys are selling this boat & now wishing we had made the small Gathering at lake Powell this fall.

Someone is going to get a great boat! We have cruised with Brent and Dixie, and I can attest that they know boats (especially C-Dorys), and know how to care for them.

B & D, wish you two all the best with the sale of this fine vessel.

Jim & Joan

We will put our seal of approval on this boat and its care also. (I don't dare tell Marie it is for sale, she will want it!).

We are sad to see you sell Discovery, but life moves on!

Brent and Dixie, WOW, this is a surprise but as Bob said, Life moves on, and I know you have enjoyed fully the times on Discovery. I have enjoyed your participation here and the vicarious travels I snuck in on. I missed seeing you one time when I rode my motorcycle right past your place and you were in Alaska, not exactly a near miss, but want to wish you all the best in your future as plans and places carry you forward.

Best in your sale. I know that your TomCat is worth every penny and pretty sure it will go in a flash.

Brent & Dixie, I am more glad now (and I was pretty glad then) that I came out to Lake Powell to join up with everyone. Sad to see you selling Discovery. Any downsizing in the future, or are you done with the boating thing? Rosanne will be disappointed not to see you again at any of the gatherings. I too will vouch for the boat. Brent and Dixie have taken excellent care of it. Almost wish I knew it was going to be for sell when I bought C-Traveler. Then again, I'd need the truck too...Colby

Thanks for the well wishes from our C-Brat friends and the recommendations on the boat sale.

We have only used it once between 2018 and this last trip to Lake Powell. If its just going to sit in the garage, it needs a new owner. I have had some inquires and should show it next week.

The boat weighs about 10,000 lbs. including the trailer. It's never been a problem for the F350 diesel. I've towed to Skagway Alaska, to the Florida keys and to Cabo San Lucas Baja Mexico, and many places in between.

I'll keep you all posted on the outcome.

I'm trying to post some current pic of the TomCat, but I get a message "can't handle the .heic format" The pics are jpeg from an iPhone, what's my problem? With the pic posting?

Brent, I think you have to have a current Dropbox account to see your photos. I tried, but do not have a curent account so no see um.

Brent & Dixie:

I remember meeting you both clear back in 2007, 13 years ago, at both the Catalina Offshore Adventure and the Delta-Bay Extravaganza. My how time flies.

I understand your selling the vessel at this stage in life. My boat has also sat in storage all year long, but I hope to get at least one more expedition cruise from it before I sell it, but its time is coming.

I know your boat is in perfect shape and it will be a wonderful vessel for its new owner. I always admired you both for your class and style, and the neat adventures that you took your boat on.

The best to you both in your life passages. I hope your health is ok for both of you.

Jim & Kath

Brent and Dixie, Yes, It works, after I figured out to click the X and drop the sign in screen out of the way. Thanks for making it work. Im sure it will help your sale, and our memories.
