Software for Spreadsheets and so forth.

The wife likes to make simple spreadsheets for various bookkeeping/budgeting tasks, We both use Excel and have Office 365 to meet both of our needs. Now that I'm going to be fully retired in January I won't exactly need the latest and greatest and am thinking of buying a copy, getting rid of the subscription service.
I also have Numbers for free on my Macs but the wife won't touch a MAC.
What are you other spreadsheet lovers doing for basic software.

I frequently use Google Sheets; free, and very comparable to Excel for simpler functions. For boat purposes, I have developed packing, prep and maintenance templates that I replicate and fill out as my needs dictate.

I guess Tarmigan is moulting as we speak and I wish he a new coat of white.
I have been telling all of my friends and colleagues that once retired I would erase all google products from my computers and go back to pure Apple Products. Well, it ain't gonna happen I guess, so Google sheets remains an option. Thanks

Do you use Numbers and do you find it acceptable for bookkeeping?

Yes when ever I have need for a spread sheet and all of my accounting is on Apple Numbers. That includes business and personal accountings. --that computer never goes on line.

I have used it for proft/loss/etc. Inventory, graphs, etc.
