Marie just called...Bob is out of Intensive Care and doing well.

They are looking forward to being discharged from the hospital in 3-4 days, but will stick around in Birmingham for a little while after that.
 
Fantastic news! Awesome to hear the surgeon state Bob's heart was in better condition than initially expected. Way to go Dr. Bob! Get plenty of rest.

Congratulations on excellent results. Life is good. All the praying and good wishes probably did it besides the expertise of the Dr. that did the job on you.

I phone only at this time. Out of hospital yesterday. Some superficial upper thigh developed Phlebitis last pm. Rest post bypass redo? At least once an hour an attack by some nurse, tech, etc. The good news is that this team did a fantastic job; I could get up to another 5 - 20 years of life.

Great to be back in the R V with. Marie & Angel.

Glad to hear from you again and what great news. Time to make everyday count (like you have not already) seeing people and places you want to see. Look forward to meeting you someday if I last that long. Thanks for being there for all of us C-Brats. Even us Venture owners! :D

the will to live, coupled with a competent surgeon and a heart in better than expected condition equals very good success.
now then, in a prior post i recommended a book deal, so with that in mind, when will you start and just how much am i going to pay ( 10 x's the market value) for the first issue?

Wow, and how do you get to that upper number of 5-20 years? Inquiring minds want to know. Although some days I don't want to have that much... :disgust
