Say a prayer

About a week ago, I had increase in angina. Yesterday I had another cardiac catherization. The finding was that a vein graft put in place during a tripple bypass 21 years ago is failing rapidly. Because of its condition, stents (I have 7 in other vessels) are not a viable option.

I hope to meet with the cardiovascular surgeon this afternoon, and most likely another bypass will be done early next week. Without a bypass my life expectancy is very limited.

I know that the prayers of you all helped when I had the proceedures at Cleveland Clinic (not an option this time)--3 years ago--and I appreciate them again now.

Our best to all of my C brat friends.

Bob,

Best wishes for a successful plan, operation and speedy recovery. You've got a lot more left to teach us so get that darn heart fixed. :love

Hey Bob;
I will be thinking of you too. Matter of fact I will be joining you!
Today I meet with my surgeon, and on Monday go in for my cardiac catherization and then if all goes well I go in the following day for my new aortic valve. Looking forward to getting it replaced and back on my feet so I can get back up to Echo Bay.
I guess we will both be taking it a day at a time and see what the good lord has in mind.
All the best to you buddy !
