I received some sad news this morning when I checked email. My boating and fishing friend George Roach (Sea Quest) passed away last Friday, April 6. Diana and I met George and his wife Jan at Lake Powell in 2009, and found an instant kinship.

We also met George and Janice at Lake Powell. He had a real enthusiasm for life. On the go from daylight to dark. Our condolences to Janice.

Sorry to hear of your friend George's passing. Great photos and good memories of fun times. Somethings we can take with us to help heal the loss. My condolences to his wife and family.

George and his wife were the ones that I spotted enroute to Lake Powell on I15 just north of Las Vegas a couple of years ago.

Very sad. Condolences to his family and friends.

Yes, for sure sad news.  We too very much enjoyed being around & having conversations with George at two Lake Powell Gatherings.  He was one of the first up & then out fishing from his kayak every morning with enthusiasm & a zest for life that was contagious to us. Our condolence to Janice & family.

Pat and I also met them at Lake Powell. They were going to pull out when we did and then George said, "Hey, I don't have to be anywhere any time soon," and they stayed longer. We were so jealous. I'm glad they stayed and smelled the roses. Condolences to the family.
