Getting ready to install a roof air,can any one tell me what the 2006 model is cored with on the roof?

Check out Thataway 's pictures He has done that on 2 boats already

Also what size A/C unit and what kind ? I would like to go with a low profile one . I've been thinking of doing the same thing with our cc-23 Jim

You can sound out your roof. The Tom Cat has a 3/4" balsa core in the middle raised portion. The C Dory 25 has about 1/4" glass (maybe a little less) in the center. It may vary from year to year....

In either case, I would build a frame for the inside, and be sure that the outer portion is absolutely flat.
