Ron passed away very suddenly while working on his C-Dory.

May his next voyages always have fair winds and calm seas. The obituary showed what a bright and competent man he was. A sudden death is always hard to understand. Our prayers to to his family.
 
As boats are now starting to arrive at our home for the Loop trip, this really sadness my heart, as I had just spoken to Ron several weeks ago as he and Janet had also planned to go.
We will say a prayer for him and his family and will toast his life as a fellow Brat at our pre-cruise dinner tomorrow.

Wow, after all his earlier accomplishments, he received a JD degree? A man who loved learning quite apparently. Sorry I never got to meet Ron and Janet!
