Does anyone have a source for replacing the cutting board for an Origo 4000 alcohol stove? Fisheries Supplies shows them as a $150 special order item only.

Thanks in advance,
john

Could do the compass rose on one side with your boats name for display and use the other side for cutting.

PM me here if you are interested.

Lots cheaper than $150

Bud produces works of art! Wow.

An alternative is to buy a Wal Mart HDPE cutting board which is over size, and cut/route it to the correct size. Or buy a piece of Starboard and cut it to the correct size.

Amazon has 1/2" thick 12 x 18 HDPE cutting boards for about $ 14.

Walmart has cutting boards 12 x 18 HDPE for $10, probably 1/4 or 5/16 " thick?

Common wood working tools work well on HDPE,

Do you have the dimensions from the old one?

Here are some pictures of the original (as far as I know).

It's just over a half an inch thick... I'd say 9/16"

Mine is in pretty good shape, but I might be interested in something custom you come up with... you do nice work!

Bud, Again, really nice work. Sure glad it keeps you off the streets. As to the ER, WELL, at least you still have your thumb, and that sure doesn't prevent you from doing beautiful work.

Thanks again for sharing
