Relative (Marbin Marine) For Sale in Edmonds Washington

WOW, That is beautiful. A classic Ed Monk design and gorgeous wood interior. Not fast, but you get there in (a) style.

Would be interesting to know the tankage.

Beautiful, unusual (especially the 2/53 jimmy Diesel--today any boat like that would have a Yanmar). It would be very expensive to replicate--and truly a bargain--if you wanted a boat with upper and lower bunks.../I suspect the dinette makes into a full bed?.

Is this the same Marben family that started C-Dory back in the late 1970's???

Yes, I believe Marben is derived from Mark and Ben Toland of C-Dory fame.

Detroit 2/53 diesels were manufactured from 1968 to 1991....I wonder why such an old motor would be installed in a 1999 boat ?

And why it only has 700 hours on it in 2018...

And why the really slow speed....my 22' tug with only 25 hp. easily does 9 knots..... (hull speed)...I would think a 27' would have a better hull speed than 5.5

I love it. If we still lived in the north Puget Sound I'd seriously consider it. For the skinny water around Georgia and Florida that we haunt now, the shallow draft c-dory is a better boat for us.
