Living the dream

Well, I'm way past Plan B and working down the alphabet....
The original plan was to ship my boat on the Alaska State Ferry in April but it was cancelled because of the virus so the State put me in for the May sailing which turned into the end of June sailing and finally scheduled for July. Well that's not going to work for me so I planned to drive it from Seattle to Alaska. In order to do that I had to install electric over hydraulic disc brakes and new tires. In the mean time Canada closed down their borders to all essential travel heading South and North.
So what's a guy to do! I already had the brake job scheduled -with the boat off the trailer I might as well do new bunks, and what the heck...new bottom paint and touch up the gel coat. With the border closure extended until the end of June, I finally tapped out and shipped commercially with TOTE.
The good news is the boat is now sitting at the dock in Anchorage and I will be picking it up tomorrow AM.
Now the fun begins, all is good!
