Still C-razy, my spouse and I just completed the most glorious 7 days ever in 20 years of going to Lake Powell. 7 straight days of light winds. Hot, but with 74 degree water only two feet away over the side, heat was not a problem. Still C-razy behaved perfectly the whole time. This is our second Powell trip since June of 2011 on Still Crazy. Trying to get use to not taking so much stuff with us on the boat. I'm jealous of all of the nice modifications I've seen from other brats. I want to make mods to assure that everything on the boat has a home.
Brats who've not put their boats on Lake Powell are missing one of the greatest experiences they will ever have on their boats. We were at the Bullfrog area with trips up and down lake from there. Bullfrog is a "no services" rough place, so if you need it, take it with you. Food and all. They do have ice, fuel, porta potti and holding tank dumps, limited boat repair. But once on the lake, non of that matters. Wahweep on the south end has many more facilities, but will be more crowded during the peak season.
Looking forward to the Powell gathering in September. We were scheduled last year, but a death in the near family circle ended that opportunity. I've instructed all old and young in my near and far family circle that if they ignore reason and die during the run-up to my trip to the lake in September, they'll be on their own.
