I knew it wasn't true, but was thinking of a marathon posting while Joe is down...not sure how far I am behind, last time I looked it was 400 or so. Too much trouble!

Missing 2 weeks of posting was a revealing vacation, not only reminding me how much I enjoy this banter and information sharing between good friends, but also how much more primary good health and immediate family are in the total happiness equation.
You'll find my recount of my hospital stay and recovery on the other thread, so won't bother you with them here.
The total posts thing was once a fun bone of contention between Pat and I, but isn't really important anymore. However, for those compulsive types that need a numbers, the count is now 4211 (Joe) to 3784 (Pat), a difference of 427. Bob Austin is closing the gap fairly quickly with his incomparable sage advice, with 3530 total posts.
Good to be back!

Bob is about to dissapear over the Norther Horizon, so no contest...I don't count posts. Glad to see Joe is back--and recovering well! I almost stopped at Shasta/Redding to see if I could find Joe, but then the lure of the Anacortes Gathering was too great and the pedal kept to the metal! I'll catch him on the ride South!
