Passing of a beloved C-Brat

Richard Morrison asked me to let the C-Brats know that Judy passed peacefully earlier this week.

Rich and Judy started running the rivers almost 20 years ago on pontoon boats with Pat and Ken Fry.

After a few wet and windy nights they discovered C-Dory's and the C-Brats, first on a 22 Cruiser "Sandpiper" and a couple of years ago moved up to a 25 Cruiser "Y-Knot."

Judy loved traveling on boats and she loved to dance.  She, Rich and their faithful dog Tillie have logged thousands of miles from the Great Lakes to the Florida Keys and everywhere in between.

Rich and Judy were regulars at the Mississippi River gathering and enjoyed visiting with friends old and new at numerous other C- Brat gatherings as well.

Every time I see a C-Dory or hear a cajun fiddle or country waltz or two step, I will think of Judy.

All of our best wishes go out to Rich and family.

Thank you for sharing this and for your kind words.

Please pass on to Rich the good wishes from all of us here until he feels up to reading them. He is always among friends.

Tex, Thank you for letting us know. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Rich. Both Marie and I will sorely miss her! Life is short--and we must live it fully!

Our prayers.

So sorry for your loss Rich. It was our privilege to know Judy through the C-brats gatherings. She was very easy to talk to and she will be missed.
God bless

The Hontoon Island docks won't be the same at the March gathering. Judy's subtle humor and rich laughter added so much to our time together.

Our thoughts and happy memories of a great gal are with you.

Sorry to hear about Judys passing. She and Rich are examples of the great people we've had the privilege to know through C-Brats. We were fortunate to enjoy her company at many gatherings. She will be missed. Rich ....know that we are praying for you and your family. God bless and Keep. Tom & Joyce Schulke

Pat and I went to the visitation for Judy today. It was a long and quiet ride knowing the purpose of the trip. We met with Rich and said our farewell to Judy. In the back of the room was a group of pictures that we reviewed. One of the pictures of Rich and Judy on their pontoon boat I took myself. On the trip home we started talking about all the great times we had traveling with Rich and Judy. Each sentence started with remember the time Judy did this or Judy did that. By the time we arrived home we had just spent 2 hours remembering all the wonderful and fun times we had spent with Rich and Judy. Our mood changed from sadness to a celebration of Judy's life. We will miss Judy but we realized just haw lucky we were to have her in our lives. We are so privileged to have known her as a friend. Gods speed Judy. May God bless and look over Rich in these times of sadness.
