Owner's Manual?

I just picked up a 1994 22' Cruiser. It doesn't have any of the original documentation from the factory. Is there an owner's manual that should have come with it originally? And if so, anybody know where I could get one? I contacted C-Dory's web site and they did not have any resources that they could offer.

The owner’s manual that came with our 07 was full of generalities, not that useful. Anything that was added in addition to the basic options on the boat came with its own documentation.

I’m sure there’s a Brat on-board who has a 94 22’ Cruiser, perhaps they can be persuaded to send you a copy.

BTW, congratulations on your new acquisition and welcome aboard.

The information which comes with an "owner's manual" is mostly the instructions from the various componants. You may want to find what systems you have--ie brand of pump, head, bilge pump, and get the manuals for these specfic pieces of equiptment. Some electronics supplies keep "Legacy" manuals on line--Lowrance, and Garmin do this--Furuno perhaps quite as extensive. Not sure about RayMarine.

Each boat may be wired differently from the factory--add in changes made by various owners along the way.

Thanks much guys! I appreciate the speedy response. I'm looking forward to printing out the manual when I get home tonight. My wife and I plan to see if the boat can catch fish for the first time this weekend. . . .Craig
 
Also, the capacities are probably not correct (not correct for the C-25 or Tomcat for example). I printed off the manual available at the time then added my own corrections from research with factory engineers and others.
