We bought the Tully B from Curtis White in April of this year and we were finally able to take her on our first cruise in Northern Lake Huron two weeks ago. This 2008 25 cruiser preformed even better than we hoped that it would. What a joy it was visiting Mackinaw Island, Mackinaw City St. Ignace, Detour Village Drummond Island along with doing the Inland water way that starts at Cheboygan and goes through Mullet Lake, Indian River, Burt Lake, Crooked River and on into Crooked Lake. All along the way Jan and I kept thinking about how nice it would be to be able to share these waterways with other C-Brats. Next year we plan on doing the Trent Severn Water Way starting around June 1st and end up in Northern Lake Huron around the 4th of July. Also thinking about joining the Mississippi group in September. Lee Murray

That is certainly beautiful cruising grounds, and the C-Dory 25 is the right boat.
Here's our log of the trip we took through those waters, including the Trent Severn Canal: Journey On through the Great Lakes.
I'll bet it was cooled there than down in Wisconsin, where we are. Good cruising.

Congrats on the new ride!! You will love the Trent and June 1 is a good time to start. It will be warm and you will beat the rush. July on the Trent is a mad place. I've heard you have to stop and tie up shortly after noon or you might not find a spot! We are going back for our 3rd time this September. There are soooo many beautiful places to tie up and anchor out that I doubt we will even finish it all this time!
