One Freaked-Out Boater.....

Here's a photo I just found in a recent post on the Great Lakes Angler site. Apparently it's for real and was taken near Holland, MI.

We were literally chased by a waterspout off the coast of Central America in an 8 knot boat. We took all of the canvas off we could and secured items on deck. The spout disipated less than a mile from us (by Radar).
The waterspouts generally are not as dangerous as a full blown tornado.
