The podcasts are available directly from NPR as well. You can use anything that can subscribe to the podcast RSS feed....just in case some people are Apple-averse. :whistle

Here is the RSS feed link:

That is sad news indeed. Car Talk is my favorite radio program. Last October we were back in Boston for my grand daughters christening. So I had my son in law take me to their garage, which is a real working garage. Was standing out side taking a couple of pictures when Click (Tom) rode up on his bike. I got to sit and visit with him for about 20 minutes. Man he had me laughing the whole time. The interaction between those two guys is so great. And to be brothers to boot. Well all good things must always come to an end, so they say. Still sad.

Another era comes to a close. I've had the opportunity to listen to them more since I retired (used to have to work on Saturday mornings :wink: ), and always enjoyed the good information along with the banter. Just like Bill and El deciding to sell Halcyon. Time moves on, things change.

Thanks for all those years, Click 'n Clack.

Here's just one of the comments;

"When they advised me to put gas in a car that would not start, I realized that they were automotive geniuses."

From the few times I listened to them, they were pretty accurate in their "diagnosis" of mechanical problems while still being entertaining. Not an easy thing to do. I think I liked them because deep down I'm sarcastic too!

I'm sure most long time listeners know this, but the casual listener may not. They have a very interesting back story. Both brothers have degrees from MIT and taught at one point. The older brother has a doctorate and was a professor for years. What I've always like about them is that they seem like regular guys doing something they love.
