In the Choice of anchor thread a wolf has appeared. He is Craig Smith, developer of the Rocna anchor. While he makes a good anchor his business tactics are rather sleazy. He has inserted his advertising into the Wikipedia anchor defination and drug the SSCA Discussion Board into the mud.

My .02 is spammers should simply be deleted with no fanfare at all. Since I don't own the board, last post on that.
 
Update; Mr Smith has been shown the door. Good riddance!
 
We have another one. Alain Poirard. This guy is the origional anchor spammers (Craig Smith) deuling partner. They have an international online pissing contest and don't seem to care what damage they do. To see his post go to the General Chat Forum and look up Annoying Anchor Salesmen.
Like Craig, he designed a good anchor but has little respect for others.

Craig Smith is a spammer in the slammer now as a result of his on line pharmacy company, using a New York doctor to write prescriptions for a dollar apiece, death threats, Etc.,Etc. A very ambitious young man from my hometown of Prior Lake, Minnesota who amassed homes and cars worth millions and had the audacity to go off shore to set up drug internet companies while out on bail for charges in federal court.
 
I'm not sure we're talking about the same guy. The annoying anchor guy is from New Zealand, as far as I know.
 
To make things even more confusing-the originator of the Rocna anchor is listed as Peter Smith of New Zealand. I really don't care--who is who--but agree that this self promotion of anchors is ill advised.
