New to the boating universe

Hi All,
My partner and I recently became the proud owners of the former Sea Lion (a previous owner has an album on here). She'll be rechristened the HuRey! this summer. We bought her in November without being able to test her out and no survey. She'd been stored outside but under cover for a long time, but outside the last year.
She's undergone and undergoing some pretty extensive refurbishing but I'm happy to say we've been able to motor up and down the Willamette River a few times and all systems are go!
This site has been a invaluable resource especially for a boat novice such as myself. THANK YOU ALL!

Welcome aboard. There is a lot more than just the boats..There is great extended family of dedicated C Dory owners. They have gatherings, as well as the forum her.

As to gatherings, Coming up mid May is the Friday Harbor C-BRAT gathering (FH-CBGT) in Friday Harbor, on San Juan Island. Take a quick trip up, do a walk-on onto the ferry for one day and see a bunch of really neat people with some awesome boats. Or come and stay for the weekend.
