Hello all,

Our move is complete and we are putting the finishing touches on the air compressor and electrical so that we can spray our first CDory at the new plant tomorrow morning.

Our new number is (360) 393-3283, and the address is 5375 Labounty Dr. Ferndale WA 98248. Our door is always open to any and all C-Brats who are in the neighborhood so please feel free to stop by at anytime, and Jeff and I will gladly show you around.

Thanks again for all of your support during the move, and now that things are starting to settle down we are looking forward to getting to know you all better.

Sincerely,

Scott Boysen

Is this where SeaSport will be built as well or is it still at the original location in bellingham?

In his original post, Scott said they were moving as a cost-cutting effort, so I am 99% sure that all boats will be built in Ferndale.

SeaSport is not currently being built.

I have heard that the hope is that Triton Marine cn come to an agreement with the bank to begin production on the line, but time will tell.

If you drive on by, please feel free to stop on in. We are now officially ready to roll as the air compressor and wiring are complete. The excitement is definitely starting to build and I look forward to getting back to normal.

I am thinking about posting pictures of boats during the build process so that you all can see how and what we do, does this have merit for you C-brats? Let me know, and again thanks for all the encouragement.

Sincerely,

Scott Boysen

Questions bring forth knowledge, and the more knowledgable the C-Brats are with first hand accurate information the better off we are as a whole. So ask away and I will do my best to answer in a timely manner.

Sincerely,

Scott

Thanks for your positive outlook Scott.
We own a 2009 Venture 23 CDO23013E809 and really enjoy it a lot.
Glad to see that your going to pick up the C-Dory torch and run with it.
Congradulations, wishing you all the best.
Cheers :)

If this is true its sad to here because they Started with SeaSport. Why would you put in jerperdy your most productive brand. Like I said It would be nice if Scott would comment on the status of the company

Me as the buyer looks at the posted price on the boat and thinks they are getting filthy rich...
Me as the factory owner looks at the posted price on the boat and wonders how I am going to make payroll on Friday...

Scott,
I suspect a picture log of a C-Dory build would be welcomed on here... Drop a line to Da Nag about a factory photo album for you...

Glad to hear you have a new production center and that all is on line for the first new boat. You have a loyal group of supporters and fans of these great boats. Kick back this weekend and celebrate.

Let's not speculate... the previous threads of the "demise" took on the tone of a gossip session. Just because we ask for certain information, it doesn't mean that a business has to release their intentions. Time, ultimately, will tell.

In regards to posting photos here, I think it would be a breath of fresh air to have factory interaction here. When my boat was being built (in 2006), it was a treat to get occasional progress photos during the building process. Seems to me that it would be interesting and informative to see some photo documentation of the building process... not to mention: good PR.

Good luck with the fine-tuning in the new location and the successful continuation of a boating legend. These boats are something very special.

Best wishes,
Jim B.

Just a reminder to any C-Brats in our area or just passing through.....stop on in for a visit. Also, if you have service questions or work to be done we are available for that as well. Give Greg our service manager a call (360) 393-3283. I hope everyone is getting out and enjoying the sun that is finally hitting the Pacific NW......our summer has been a long time coming.
