I just purchased a nice, clean 22' Cruiser from a nice lady in Charleston. I have yet to bring it home, waiting on new bottom paint and a few mostly cosmetic repairs. Can't wait!

Congrats, I'm assuming lake Murray is a destination, as well as coast. I'd be interested in bottom paint choice since the variables are so different. Some paints better for out of water storage vs in, as well as salt vs fresh. I need to do this myself soon so pls keep us updated, as I'm in similar circumstances.

I plan use on Lake Murray where we live as well as the South Carolina and Florida coasts. The boat will be a live aboard fishing and SCUBA boat. So, half and half salt and fresh water.

The bottom is being done by the lady that I'm buying the boat from. Intended for salt water, just another coat of the same material that is on the boat now. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know what she is putting on.

I pick the boat up in a week or two and plan to add a swim platform, second battery and mount for a 5 HP kicker. Then, off to the coast
