Not a thing wrong with any of the current manufacturers. The fish finders are a lot better than 20 years ago. Depth is still depth.

If you are near a West Marine or electronics store go look and see which is easiest for you to use.

I agree that Garmin is the most intuitive. I am using RayMarine because a relatively new system came on the boat I currently own, and I expanded it. Works great. A little harder to get used to--but I used Lowrance products in the 2006 to 20010 era--then Garmin for 8 years...Before all of that Furuno.
 
Not really a fan of Garmin. Had one of their GPSMap units a few years ago. Like the Humminbird unit that came with my C-Dory a lot better.
