Lake Powel 2019 April/May

Hi from “Sierra”, (formally “Andiamo”), our new to us, C-Dory 25. After months of refit, we would like to take a spring cruise to Lake Powel. We spent a week in Powel last early April on our Ranger Tug 25 and would like to take Sierra’s maiden shakedown voyage there. After spending 6 winters in Mexico on our sailboat, then our Ranger Tug, we are planning a winter trip down Baja next fall/winter 2019. More on that later....
Any one out there interested in a mid April-May Lake Powel excursion ?? Please let us know

Congratulations on the "new" C Dory 25. You are going to find a whole new world of exploration and use at Lake Powell, with the shoal draft, and ability to moor stern to the beach--and no climbing off the bow (most of the time--we never did at {Powell). The best of all Worlds--Big Sur, Mexico and Powell!
 
Thanks Bob. Have been following your numerous posts off & on over the years. I would like to add the Florida Keys to the list of best places on earth !! Lived there 25 years sailing a Trimeran all day sail & snorkel charter out of Pennejamp State Park before retiring to raise a family & go to nursing school . Fact I brag that my first born was potty trained on the way to the Dry Tortugas !! The intercostal & Bahamas were also cruised many times!!

We would like to do a cross country trip one winter to explore the Keys & southern Florida ... but Baja Mx gets first dibs !!! We looked at Ranger Tugs & C-Dorys in 2015 to make the switch from sail to trailorable power & got the tug !!! After 3 years of diesel, draft, heavy on the road , complicated systems, & a boat loan , we went simpler & cheaper & lighter !!! And looking forward to our new mode of water travel.
