L_Brackets for holding cabinets - where to purchase

I have tried finding stainless Brackets at W Marine and Boaters World - for when I do the drill and epoxy of the screw holes into the balsa. Do you re-use the galvanized ones - or where do you buy new stainless?

I bought some 1.5x1.5 inch aluminum angle and made my own L brackets. I cut them 3/4 inch wide and they work well and have some surface area to work with.
 
The factory sent me aprox 75 brackets, the necessary Stainless screws AND driver bits!

Our local ace hardware has them, as well as a great selection of stainless fastners.
Look in the fencing supplies or just ask at a good hardware store

I got rid of them all and fileted and glassed the cabinets in and filled all the holes with epoxy. Not a single screw left into the balsa that I know of.
 
Steve's way is the best--tab in the cabinets. The SS "L" brackets have a different screw hole configuration. The factory brackets are zinc plated, not galvanized.

It is best to avoid any screw holes in the core.
 
Its not "my way". I learned everything I know from Thataway Bob. I am just trying to pass the word. If I had stopped and done all of this when my boat was new, it would have taken a small fraction of the time and hassel and no damage would ever have occurred. Today I am rebedding my forward hatch ala Bob. All I did to get started on all of this was to read Bob's threads and purchase the basic ingredients directly from his recommendation list.
