iPhone 3g

james is a liar, he has never seen me in heels. He just wishes he had.

I will try the PDA NET and see if that works. if iphone does get the hotspot thing going that would be great. Is that something that iphone is doing or is it just a boot lag program for it.

Tom, ol' buddy, one must understand the difference between a liar, a joker, and a cheap-shot artist. I'll admit to two out of three of those. 8) Anyone who knows you and me knows that I am a kidder and you would be out of your element in heels. I think we all see you as more of boots kinda guy... soggy boots, perhaps. There I go, kidding again. And for the record, I do not wish to see you in heels... ever again.

The only thing this has to do with iPhones is their ability to go to YouTube with the push of one button. One more outburst out of you and I post the link to the video.

* yes, that's another joke. There is no video. Tom doesn't wear heels, and even if he did, I don't have video of it. So please, folks, quit asking.

I just got the Verizon USB modem for a laptop. Like Jim I want the full keyboard and screen when using the web.

I am wondering if there is any savings to using a cellphone as a modem vs buying the service for the USB modem or is it the same thing?

Steve

I used a Treo 600 for a couple years, then upgraded to a Treo 650. PDA net always worked well for me. I could tether my laptop to the Treo or use Bluetooth. Either way worked very well.

Last fall I switched to an Iphone and AT&T service. I enjoy the Iphone very much but in my opinion the keyboard on the Treo was easier to use.
