I finally had the opportunity to take my new to me 22 Cruiser yesterday. I enjoyed a mid-afternoon that turned into a sunset cruise which turned into a overnight. I ran the engines for about 3 hours at around 3,000 RPMs unsure of how much higher could I go. I looked at the engine's manual, but it didn't mention anything about optimal RPMs.
What do you consider optimal RPMs without causing the engine harm?
BTW, the ride on the Chesapeake was quite smooth and I was delighted to realize how much more usable room there is on this boat compared to my Chaparral 240 Signature Cruiser.
Also, if you know of anyone looking for a 1999 Chaparral 240 Signature Cruiser, I have one for sale real cheap
Thanks,
Nash
