Up this morning to get Izzy fed and the coffee going. The fireplace is warming the main salon... um, living room. Yep, we're in the rolling condo (or as Dr. Bob calls it, the "dirt boat") this holiday. After watching the Macy's Parade on satellite TV (Hey, we were there on 34th Street!), we'll head to the in-laws... turkey and some Texas brisket. No idea how many of us will be around the table, but it's sure to be a bunch.

Another year ticking by, and much to be thankful for. Wild Blue took us on some wonderful travels. Met some great C-Brat folks. Little Izzy has taken to traveling better than we could have hoped for. We have our health.

When we say what we're thankful for today, I'll have quite a list. The in-laws probably won't understand "the C-Brats", but this place is a bit of home when we're out and about... and home and family always play a big part in the holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving, C-Brat friends.

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

hey jim, byrdman, dr. bob, joe, jim and sandy, capt. mattie, nick, sarge, roger, tyboo and danag, c-pearl, mike and ms. b, and alllllllllll c-brats, hope this is the best thanksgiving ever.
linda and i are up and about, also watching the macy parade, just finished breakfast, sipping on the last cup of coffee and will promptly go outside to rake leaves, trim a tree and put up the christmas lights, although not as many lites as in the past, but just enough to say, we're alive and enjoying the season.
wish we could be aboard the dirt boat as well but she is tucked in her storage fit and trim and ready to go for this 2010 spring!
best regards
pat

Happy Thanksgiving to the C-Brats today. Many things to be thankful for here. Freedom to think, say, do, travel, worship and recreate as we wish as we choose. Family to spend special time with. Friends who have been there when the need was great.

Want to wish you all a very happy, safe and fulfilling Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to "All Yall".

We are here in the End of Texas with some family and friends over for the big meal.

We are blessed.....much better than we deserve.

Happy Thanksgiving to all aboard! (and those who are not, and read this later). We have Marie's sister, and her children and grandchild at our home, and have already finished eating turkey. A bit of a sad Thanksgiving for us, with an empty place set for Marie's mother--and a pray for her safe passage in the afterlife.

I had a new boating experience yesterday. I took the 4 year old and his grandmother out in the Caracal. He kept saying "go fast". When we were in open water, I stopped the boat, and had him come to the helm, so he could steer at a slow speed (the way my grandchildren learned to handle the boat)--not this one. The first thing he did was slam the throttle all of the way foreward--My reflexes were not quick enough to prevent this, but were to cut the throttle before we were thrown out of the boat. Always something new on the water!

A blessed day with family - much to be thankful for in the year rapidly departing.

Happy day after TG to all Brats. Just back from eldest daughter's home in NoVa, nice day, too much turkey and rib roast but lots of leftovers. Many things to be thankful for, particularly all the brats on this site!
