Happy new year C-brats!

I want to wish all the C-brats a happy new year!!

What cruising plans are you all making for the upcoming season? I love seeing all your travels here.

Dana and I are looking for a weather window to head south to the Sea of Cortez a few days after Dana's last day at work on the 9th. Most of my cruising projects are done and we are excited to see how Sierra will do down there. I will be glad to get the over 1,000 mile tow over with though!

I will start a Baja sub-album in the Sierra photos with some area descriptions.

Good luck to you all for the new year!

Micah and Dana, Happy New Year and thanks for your great contributions! We wish Happy New Year to all of our C Brat family!

We have only Hontoon, and end of summer (August or Sept.) probably a month on the Erie Canal, or that area. Probably some shorter trips along the Gulf Coast. We have been playing with a trip to Faro Blanco in the Keys..but probably not enough time in our schedules.

Here’s wishing all a wonderful new year. Micah and Dana, we are looking forward to seeing photos & descriptions of your Sea of Cortez trip.

In 2020 we plan on returning to Alaska, Yellowstone & Lake Powell.

-Okeechobee waterway from Stuart to Fort Myers and back third week in January.

-Hontoon Island first week in March.

-Putting in around Jacksonville, exploring ICW North into Georgia around 2nd week in April.

See you on the water, Happy New Year.

Happy New Year friends!

Key West til Jan 4, Marathon rental house with canal til Jan 11.

Late Feb Hontoon Gathering and expedition to Deep Creek, depths permitting. Leeches galore. Manatee BBQ roast (just kidding!).

May Norfolk/Dismal Swamp/Albemarle loop.

June local Pensacola beach cruises.

Early to mid July SC ICW.

Mid July-end Aug trailer 3,000 miles to PNW, San Juan Islands, up BC inside passage to Broughtons. (Without a dingy, so some of you think we may be sniveling idiots. That won’t be the first time proven wrong for us, so it won’t hurt much if that happens again).

Early Sept Upper Miss C-Brats Gathering.

Oct TBD.

Late Nov-mid Jan Key West (we made that reservation today at Stock Island Marina Village, although they are now enforcing a 35ft min boat length charge, so we might change to NAS Boca Chico marina at $1/ft per day).

I need a Total Knee Replacement surgery, but a fella needs to get his priorities straight before that kind of fun lark can be scheduled.

It’s 82 degrees and sunny so we need to get back to the pool.

Cheers!

John

Happy New Year C-Brats. I wish for all of you in 2020 many hours of fun cruising, relaxing, and living in your beloved C-Dory. Many adventures await us.

My plans for 2020 including launching a new charter fishing business (in addition to flounder gigging charters), which is Bullynetting Charters.

As most people may know Bullynetting is netting lobster ie around the mangroves in the florida keys preferably from an open-bow, shallow-draft boat (that I plan on buying). Here in NE florida (Jacksonville) where I live the lobster are found only well off the coast in deeper water so my adventure will be launched in the florida keys after the lobster mini-season which will be in July.

My site is http://www.bullynetting.com which I first published in Sept but hope to launch the business in 2020. More boating means more fun especially where delicious Florida seafood is involved.

Thats about it. More to come as the plans progress.

Happy New Year!
