Yes, congratulations to Jim and Joan. Since the Wild Blue is all decorated up for Christmas, you have nothing to do today but spend time with each other sitting on the boat sipping on Hot Butter Rums.....er, since it's summer time weather there, I guess it would be Iced Butter Rums......

Jim and Joan-

Congratulations! 39 years! Well on your way to 50! (In 2022!)

I see you signed up for the Get Together at the Seattle Boat Show next month! Are you both coming?

We'll have to save a big easy chair right next to the fireplace for Jim, our Cold Weather Enthusiast! :xseek

Joe. :teeth :thup

Congratulations you two! I've got to say, you must have been married in your early teens  . I know we were and we're coming up on 45 in a few weeks. Glad we're not getting any older!

I take that back, if we don't get any older, I don't like the current alternative. Have fun!

Aw, you guys... just for the record, Joan was 4, I was 6. We were very precocious.

We were high school sweethearts. Worked together all our adult lives. Certainly not for everyone, but neither of us can imagine it any other way. Those of you who know us, know that we could not be more different... must be something to that "opposites attract" thing.

We will both be coming to the SBS, and so looking forward to it. Our only other time at the Seattle Boat Show was in 2006, where we signed the purchase order for Wild Blue. Can't wait to renew old friendships and put more faces with names.

Please join us in raising a glass and thumbing our noses at all those people who said, "It'll never last."

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan
