Later this week it's on to the Mississippi River Gathering at Guttenberg and then down to Lake Powell Gathering after a brief stop to recharge in Colorado.

Cold and windy Memorial Day weekend at Lake Powell. Lake level rising and the 'cut' is open.

Now in Bellingham harbor for some 'warm' summer cruising in the NW. Brought the sunshine up from Utah in our cockpit.

HI Bill and El,

Charlotte would not have survived with our Mr Grey(the cat) on board. If his tail would not have broken all the webs he might just have thumped her with his paws. He climbs all over the cabinets in our kitchen so the tops all always dusted.

He was not too much trouble on the boat, but the litter box did need to be emptied promptly.

Hope you are well. I had 3 stents inserted in my heart arteries but am doing Ok. I will soom be back on the bike and roller skates.

Have a good summer!

Lots of wood in the water, real high tides lately. Be careful. Are you coming this side after Louisa or continueing to the Broughtons? George

George
Probably just cruise Princess Louisa and Desolation this trip. Hope to be on "your" side on the way south. Would like to cross wakes.

Late July and August probably in San Juans and Gulf.

Have a safe fun trip, see you on the way back. I'll be about local in late July and August. Then south to Lake Powell. George

George - when are you going to Powell? We'll be there the first two weeks of September, the main Brat group a bit later. We'll be in the San Juans for a week after the Bellingham CBGT.

Hi there, I'll be later in September after air races in Reno, planning to meet up with the main pod somewhere in Powell. I'm in the Nanaimo area thru August. Starting south Sept 1 thru Port Angeles, saying hi to folks on the way. George

This will be our last post about our Halcyon. She has been sold to a new owner in Omaha. She is one fine boat and gave us a wonderful twelve years cruising all the Corps navigable rivers in the US, the Great Lakes, all the ICW and GICW, the Inside to Alaska twice and many of our country's lakes. She was a fine home for us and a great introduction to many good friends.
Now we have begun our transition to our return to travel abroad - cruising the Mosel and Rhine Rivers now.
We will stay in touch with the Brats. Enjoy your wonderful boats, C-Brats, and best wishes to all from Germany.

The close to another era. Hope the Omaha folks will join here and tell us about their use of the boat.

Best wishes to both parties; safe travels all around.

Thank you, Bill & El, for all you brought to this forum. You were the first to respond to my original request on trying to get to see one of these boats... and an inspiration to many of us.

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

Bill and El, We're not sorry that you've sold your boat, in fact, we are happy to see that your new plan is working out so well for you. As far as we're concerned you will always be C-Brats with or without a boat. And always welcome at a C-Brat get-together or boat show! Ruthie and I will never forget all the good times we had with you and El. The adventures walking the islands and learning so much from you about the different rock formations. It was a real pleasure getting to know your son, Brad, and your grandchildren, Bryce and Ami. It was great fun making mail deliveries by boat and sharing York mints. So many things to remember. We love you and we will meet AGAIN!

El and Bill,

Diana and I wish you the very best in your next chapter. Please do keep the Brat community up to date on your travels and adventures.

Kindest Regards,

Steve and Diana

Hi El and Bill. I trust you are enjoying your river trip. Congratulations on getting a new home for Halcyon. I hope the new owner keeps us up to date on future travels. Will look forward to hearing from you as you move around the planet. Thank you for all you have given us over the years in travels, inspiration, knowledge and humor and philosophy. I have learned so much from reading your posts and web site. Best wishes for your next chapter. George

El and Bill,
Halcyon was the first C-Dory I ever boarded, way back in 2000 at Sweden Point on Mattawoman Creek, I believe. Your kind welcome to a stranger and your infectious enthusiasm about C-Dorys, adventure, and life in general inspired me as they have so many others over the years. Good luck and God Bless to you both.

Bill and El, you have been such an inspiration to us. I can't even begin to recollect the number of times that I've spoken of the two of you and your travels. It was so thrilling to meet you the first time at Blakely Island in the San Juans when you surprised some of us by "sneaking" in on the C-Brat gathering. I'm so glad to know that you will continue to bless us with frequent "postings" of your adventures.

El and Bill,

Great that you are on your next adventure! We enjoyed your companionship, especially last summer in the San Juan Islands. Enjoy your next chapter in life and keep sharing your travels.

Don and Dee
