For Boaters Who Enjoy Birding

Diana Doyle recently wrote to us about SeaBC - an appeal to birders who enjoy boating also and would like to share information about birds observed from their boats. She is organizing a census of birds seen by boaters from their boats - for this December.

Any Brats interested in birding and taking part may want to check out her site and participate:

A few of us C-Brats are aware of your wonderful bird pictures. Thanks to encouragement from El and Bill, now is your chance to share your wonderful photography talents and extensive knowledge of birds with others beyond us who receive and enjoy your emails and attached photographs.

I hope I did not put you on the spot but your work is just awesome.

Best regards,

Great site and thoughts. There were a number of birders at the Pensacola Beach this weekend looking for pelagic birds which would have been forced toward shore by TS Lee--they were rewarded by a number of sightings.

Does my Kayak Count? We get some unusual birds in our bayou--unfortunately I don't always have a 500 mm lens with me--and often when I get back in the Caracal--the bird is gone....

You are very kind, Rollie; I appreciate your appreciation. And thanks to El & Bill for the link.
