Hello,
On a non boating related trip to the keys I stubbled upon a Rv/ Marina that is only about ten miles north of Key West and would allow you to trailer your boat via Rv and actually park your boat right in front of your RV. They have a restaurant bar that has pretty decent food and all other supplies are relatively close. Here's the link http://www.geigerkeymarina.com/ check it out it seems to be a fun place.
