Factory News!! C-Dory Factory News

The deal killer on the 32 is the 12' 10" beam. Means wide load, with pilot car--and may need pole car and alternate routes--so not "trailerable"...Unfortunately this is true of most Cats over 30 feet--the accepted LOA to Beam ratio is at least 1: 3 for a cat.

The SeaSport 32 Cats are definitely a cool boat and (excuse my French) have that awesome brick shithouse look! That's a salty, manly boat! Lol.

What I DON'T like about them are the I/O's. I'm not a fan of them at all and wouldn't buy a boat with I/O's.

Their brochure shows one with a bracket and outboards.

With Armstrong, like Burger King, you can have it your way: Outboard, I/O or diesel. And They are the Brick SH x2. 8)

Cool. With outboards there must be a huge storage space below deck in the usual engine room space. Someone could sleep down there ! Lol

You are right. I have been on this boat and there is nearly as much space in the (supposed to be) engine room as there is in the forward birth room. AND, it goes like a scared cat. :cat :xnaughty :hug 8)

Pages 16-17 of the Spring 2017 issue of The Ensign, the US Power Squadrons magazine, also carries a nice C-Dory photo. Taken in Maine, I think.

Richard, Any chance you can post a link to that article? Hoping, just in case

OK, I was able to find it. Here is the link:
http://www.theensign.org/imags/spring2017/

Looks like a green or black stripe, 22 Cruiser, standard top, with Merc single and kicker pulling a yellow Portland Pudgie dingy with maybe a Yami kicker there. Looks like flat country, somewhere.

Thanks for the pointer, Richard.
