Hello you brats--curious if it is possible to link from this site to the C Dory Facebook Page? We are pushing to expand our web presence and get things rolling!!
Thanks

Hi Mark, Whoa, I'm not the technical (nerd type) guy, but I'm sure it can be done. I know one of the C-BRATS that does that kind of work, and she sets up sites so that anything that goes into the site goes to Face book, and visa versa (I believe) so that you have 2 parallel identities. That is good for those of us who do not have FB and anyone who has FB does have I-net access.

Let's see what the chief Nerds say, Tyboo or DaNag. They are smart guys and might be able to help, and there are a bunch of other way more techy types here that may be able to help out also.

Hi Mark. Bill will have to do any real fancy stuff if needed but I did a couple things for you for the time being.

I added the Facebook link to your signature so it will show up in your first post on any given page of a thread.

I also added your website link to your profile info which gives you a little WWW button at the bottom of all your posts that takes all who click it to the web page. If you would prefer that to go to your Facebook page, we can do that instead.

I hope this helps get you closer to what you’re after. Web presence is always a good idea.

As a side note but still related to your objective, the planning for our annual gathering for the Seattle boat show is underway with a thread of its own. Perhaps if you guys share whatever plans you have for the C-Dory and SeaSport displays it would ramp up the interest a little. Here is the link to that discussion.

Thanks!

Mike

Mark, Out of curiosity and (maybe) a bunch of C-BRAT loyalty. Is there a link from your (NMI) FaceBook page to the C-BRATS site. Remember, it's not just a boat, it is a lifestyle and a family. And the best place to find anything one could want to know about a C-Dory. It's hard to beat that.
