ebay 2006 C-Dory 22 Cruiser

This is the same dealer I purchased Sea-Cruz, a 2006 Angler, from. I purchased her for $29,000 with 227 hours on the engine and felt it was an excellent deal. Given Sea-Cruz is an Angler and this is a Cruiser with a radar arch, the price difference seems reasonable. The one thing I don't see advertised on this boat is the engine hours.

Sea-Cruz, my name for her, was a repo boat and had some items removed probably by the owner that lost her to the bank. I replaced everything and still feel good about the deal after five months of use. Rod treated me well and did everything he said he would. He even arranged the shipment from L.A. to Santa Cruz for $400.

If I didn't have Sea-Cruz, I would be looking at this one. The dealer is OC Motors down in Costa Mesa by L.A. If you are close, you might want to take a look. Often these eBay auctions are really just a way to connect dealer and buyer. I would guess the reserve is close to the buy it now price, but for those who love an auction one can always play to win.

Charlie, you know what you need to go with your two TomCats? A nice 22. Then when you get that vacation house in the PacNW at which you can leave the TomCat, you can also get a place in So. Cal. to leave the 22.

I was thinking that even with the missing electronics this was a decent price at $35k. I've been watching this site for many months prior to our purchase. For similarly equipped 2006 22s with electronics around the northwest, the prices have been low $40k range (boats are quite a bit cheaper in Texas, East coast, etc. for some reason). Taking in to account that many of these boats have 5 year old electronics, which is what this boat is missing, I don't think the lack of electronics is a big deal (especially if the new owner finds deals on '06 vintage electronics).

Ours was a 2006 with King saltwater tandem, Suzuki 90, and '06 vintage Furuno electronics, and the price was only a little lower than the Buy It Now price for this ebay listing.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post about this boat on thid thread because I'm a dealer. If thats the case I aplogize to the mods in advance.

I don't just sell boats, like a lot of you, boating and fishing is my passion. My personal boat is not a C-Dory but I do have a 27 Skagit XLC. I just got back from a trip with my wife and two daughters. We trailered our boat 1300 miles to Coronet bay and spent a week in the San Juan Islands. We will be back again next August and who nows, in a few years Washington might just have another SoCal transplant.

A link to our family trip.

Looks like a great trip and nice photos. It also seems it would also be a great trip for a shake down cruise in the Washington area.
