Dometic Toilet install and plumbing.

I plan on installing a Dometic 975MSD toilet. I am installing it where the existing one is. I plan on running the sanitation hose through the fiberglass under the V-Berth, to the port side. Has anyone done this. If so any recommendations for the location of the vent and waste deck fitting.

You will still have the vent hose and suction hose along the back side of the port bulkhead/side of the boat to the deck. Be sure and epoxy seal where you put the pump out at the deck--the vent will go thru the side of the hull, probably best just below the rub rail.

I have to assume that you have a good source of a pump out. My luck with pump outs has been variable--and like to have the option of using the "porti potty" function just in case....

What do you think about installing the waste inlet by hte water inlet or by the port navigation light.
