deck chairs

I've been looking for a year for two lightweight folding deck chairs, not made in China, preferably made in the USA. Usage will be in the cockpit and on the dock.

I'm okay with cheap and I'm okay with expensive. Can anyone direct me?

No luck at REI, CostCo, West Marine, Cabelas, and several other stores. On line I found a nice-looking chair by Garelick, but there is no information re where it is made.

So far we've been using old steel card-table chairs from the basement and we can continue with those if what we are looking for doesn't exist.

Thank you.

After a lot of research I went with the Travelchair Teddy Aluminum Chair. They are very comfortable, well designed, and strong.

They are down on the boat so I don't know where they are made, but the website says they were designed in Gig Harbor, Washington.

A couple months ago I ordered a "Strongback Chair" ( http://www.strongbackchair.com/ ).

It's certainly well made, an probably the most comfortable folding chair I've used to date - the back support is fantastic, and you don't get the feeling the chair is trying to fold your shoulder's together. Maybe not the most compact when folded, but in the comfort department it's great!

Byron – the three sites listed below have chairs made in the USA. The first site seems to have the largest selection.

I used to live in Salt Lake City, where Kirkham's is located (the first link). They made their name with superior tents and have great gear all throughout the store. If you are ever in SLC, be sure to check them out.
