In 2006, the UC Census Bureau listed 3.9 million veterans of World War 2 as still being alive. Somewhere I had read that 1100 of them die per day. If that is true, there would be around 3.5 million living today.starcrafttom":336ittkt said:I'm no where close to being that old, but it was 66 yrs tomorrow that my grandfathers older brothers, all five, joined up to serve. Grandpa had to wait a few years. I have heard that there are only 15,000 WWII vets left. Any one know how true that is?
