Very nice!
Can you do a run and show typical cruising speed, 18-22 mph and that will show the RPM and MPG on the flow meter.
Thanks!

Thanks!

Yeah, next time I am out there on a flat day I will slow it down some and get a 20 mph picture of the gauges. Today was the first time trying out the paddle wheel speedo I put on when I had the boat out for service. (No James, I ain't been changing the oil in a Speedo, it is just what you call the speed indicating device.) The MPG calculation wasn't available before so I was always figuring it in my head. I was pleased to see my mental math isn't too far off the mark.

Also new this trip is the water pressure gauge. When I repowered I ended up with two empty holes in the dash so I added the pressure gauge for the 200 and an hour meter for the kicker. Where the pee stream comes out on the main motor is too low to be seen from the helm seat so I figured the pressure gauge was a good use for one of the holes. They sell a sensor to put the info on the digital display, but it is crowded enough already. I like being able to watch the water pressure, even though the overheat alarm will go off about twenty seconds after the pump fails so it probably won't do me a lot of good anyway.

Good one, Mike. Those coordinates are pretty close to the Inferno Lounge, downtown.

Yeah, we were right close to that place. We slowed down and explored pretty much the whole Astoria waterfront today. It was amazingly flat and peaceful out there. Peaceful until we motored into the East End Basin and stirred up the dock residents, that is.

We did a little Facebook live deal of the sea lions. It is here if anyone wants to see the critters. They are kind of sparse right now, but when the spring salmon get thick in the river there will be ten times this many.
